How the programme works

Life & Hope Foundation distributed wheelchairs among 122 persons with physical disabilities in Assasuni, Satkhira, on Saturday, 17 February 2024. The programme marked an important step in the Foundation’s continuing work to support underprivileged communities and promote inclusion, mobility, and dignity for people whose everyday lives are limited by physical barriers.

The distribution programme was held at Assasuni Government Model Secondary School, where beneficiaries, family members, local residents, educators, administrative officials, and community representatives gathered. The event created an atmosphere of hope and compassion, demonstrating how a practical intervention can make an immediate and meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families.

It can make it easier to attend school, access healthcare, participate in family and community life, and pursue work or income-generating opportunities.
